Sat, 28 February 2009 ![]() Because all good things must come to an end. This episode is about:
Closing music: Shael Riley - "Bit Pop" from the album Toybox. Thanks for everyone's support over the past few years! The show wouldn't have lasted as long if it wasn't for all of you. Thanks again! Comments[18] |
Mon, 13 October 2008 I finally got a new voice mail number for the podcast. Leave your comments, criticisms, or whatever else you'd like at 206-350-2102. Thanks for listening and I'm looking forward to hearing from you again. Category: general -- posted at: 4:31 PM Comments[2] |
Tue, 7 October 2008 ![]() It's been quite awhile since we've done a con report, so here we are live from our hotel room at the Providence Anime Conference. PAC took place October 3 - 5, 2008 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI. This was the first ever 21 and over anime convention, and we were there to witness it first hand. If you want to see the photos from the con be sure to check out Diana's Flickr page. It was a great convention and we had a blast. I really hope to see more cons like this in the future. Thanks for listening! Comments[5] |
Sat, 27 September 2008 ![]() This episode fueled by podcaster guilt. Yep that's right, after six months I finally put out a new show. In this episode we catch up with what I've been doing and not been doing (like podcasting), and check out all the crazy voicemail that has been hanging out in my InBox. Then John gives us his interesting perspectives on Death Note and Kingdom Hearts. All this and more in this episode of the WARP Anime Podcast! Topics include but are not limited to:
Intro Music: The PenPals - "Tell Me Why" opening theme from Berserk. That does it for this time. Hopefully the next episode will be out sooner then this one. Thanks for staying subscribed! Comments[6] |
Fri, 1 August 2008 ![]() Hey everyone. I've been getting quite a few e-mails this week asking if we'll be at Otakon next weekend. With the way gas prices are and the ridiculous cost for hotels in Baltimore, I'm afraid we won't be making it this year. However if your going to be at the Providence Anime Conference in October we'll be there. If you haven't heard of PAC it's the first ever 21 and over anime convention. This is pretty intriguing to us, so if your planning on going drop me an e-mail and maybe we can meet up for a beer or three. I know it's been a full two months since I promised a return of podcast episodes, and I still haven't delivered. To be honest I've been pretty busy and just haven't felt motivated to produce any new episodes. I've been kicking some ideas around for a new run of shows though, so expect something before too terribly long. In the meantime, would you like to win a 16GB iPod Touch? If you take this short audience survey by August 30th, you will be thrown into a drawing courtesy of my podcast host Wizzard Media. I don't normally like pushing these things on you, but I figured this is a pretty cool deal since these iPods are pretty sweet (and expensive). So CLICK HERE to take the survey. Thanks and good luck! Thanks for hanging in there with my lameness, and thanks a lot for your continued support! Category: general -- posted at: 12:08 AM Comments[7] |
Sun, 1 June 2008 ![]() Hey all. Just wanted to post a quick update and let you know that I'm still alive. Been pretty busy these last couple months. Went on vacation, went to a con, and have just been generally busy with life stuff. Look forward to a new episode soon though detailing our excellent time at Anime Punch this past April in Columbus, Ohio. Some of you long time listeners may remember that we attended this con back in 2006, but skipped 2007 since we were saving up for our trip to Japan. 2006 rocked, and 2008 was even better. This may very be the best anime convention around. Seriously. We'll tell you all about it real soon. In the "welcome to 8 years ago" category, I started myself a blog. There will be some anime and Japanese content, but for the most part it will be an outlet of sorts. So if your going through withdrawal, surf on over to schnuth.com. Thanks again for hanging in there, and I'll be talking to you all again real soon. Aaron Category: general -- posted at: 10:03 PM Comments[14] |
